What a 1RM estimate tells you

An estimated one-rep max gives you a common reference for strength progress and programming. It is especially useful when testing a true maximal lift would add unnecessary fatigue or risk.

Why estimates vary

Technique, exercise choice, fatigue, repetition speed and individual strength endurance affect the result. Compare estimates from the same movement and similar conditions.

Track personal bests responsibly

A new best can be more weight for the same reps, more reps with the same weight or an improved estimated 1RM. EvolveForm’s workout logger records these strength milestones inside Personal Bests.
